  RESERVED FOR NEENA Gorgeous black silk evening bag, embellished with genuine lapis lazuli and turquoise stone. Intricately hand embroidered by dedicated master artisans with an elegant border of sweet blue silk flowers with metallic threads, and semi precious stones, in the zardozi tradition, on Dupioni silk.
  
  This clutch recalls the glamour of Hollywood! It is an investment piece for your wardrobe! A classic!
  
  Embroidered front and back, the center stone is slightly different on either side, due to variations in natural stone.
  
  Dupioni silk is the most widely known silk and is made in India. It is a medium weight silk with a textured effect. The unevenness of the silk is a desired quality and is not considered a defect in the material.
  
  Zardozi is from the Persian and means "gold thread" . It is an elaborate art of multidimensional embroidery using gold and silver threads and embellished with precious and semi precious stones. Zardozi had its origins in Persia and was introduced into India by the ruling Mughals in the early 16th century. It was used mainly to adorn the robes of the royal families. The city of Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, was the seat of the Mughal Empire and it remains a center for traditional handicrafts that had flourished under the Mughal patronage. Today, over 15,000 craftsmen still practice the craft in the city of Agra, making elaborate zardozi purses, belts, tapestries, jewelry boxes and garments. Stunning and unique evening bag!
  
  Interior beautifully lined in sateen, with two gathered pockets the entire length of the clutch. Secure closure using two magnetic snaps. Slim profile.
  
  Exterior measurements are 11 in wide x 4 1/2 in tall, 1 1/2 in deep at the bottom, tapering to the top. Interior space is reduced to 3 inches tall due to the placement of the snap closures. Interior may or may not fit your phone, probably does but without the phone case. Please check dimensions carefully. Additional room for money and credit cards
