Two exquisite purple cranes posing in a green grassland, expertly hand embroidered in silk on black velvet, by master zardozi artisans, using silk, metallic threads and genuine semi precious stones. The birds are realistically rendered in 3D by a labor intensive technique of embroidering over layers and layers of underlying floss. Very few embroiderers are accomplished in this specialized technique. This tapestry takes months to complete.
  
  Note the realistic natural pose of the birds and their gorgeous fluffy plumage. Silk perfectly captures the soft sheen of bird feathers. We see the crane's personalities. They are fashionable, with stage presence, like can-can dancers in a French revue, with their voluminous skirts and thin legs. Note the meticulous detail and craftsmanship - the realistic eye, the remarkable shading of the feathers, the vibrant silk colors, the harmonious color palette.
