  Embroidered framed floral tapestry. Pastel multicolor silk flowers spilling out of a white and gold vase, expertly hand embroidered in silk on black velvet by master artisans in the zardozi tradition and embellished with genuine semi precious stones - green onyx, turquoise, garnets, quartz.
  
  The vase is realistically rendered in 3D by a labor intensive technique of embroidering over layers and layers of underlying floss. Very few embroiderers are accomplished in this specialized technique.
  
  The silk flowers have a beautiful soft sheen, in daylight and in evening light, and the colors will not fade. There is a beautiful glow and shimmer to the piece.
  
  Detailed ornate scrolling floral border with stones sewn in. Expertly framed under acrylic. This is a stunning work of art, perfect for a special place in your home.
  
  Zardozi means "gold thread" . It is an elaborate multidimensional embroidery art form using gold and genuine precious and semi precious stones to create an opulent 3D effect. Zardozi was introduced into India in the early 16th century and was used mainly to adorn the robes and household items of the royal families. It has been modernized by the introduction of silk. Now you too can own a work of art once reserved for royalty!
