  The body of the peacock and the tree branch are realistically rendered in 3D by a labor intensive technique of embroidering over layers and layers of underlying floss. Very few embroiderers are accomplished in this specialized technique.
  
  Glittery metallic threads and luminous silk capture the iridescent quality of peacock feathers. The glorious tail feathers have a coppery glittery effect which is not possible to capture in a photo. The beautiful floral border is in a metallic blue with genuine green onyx stones, sewn in.
